Biography

Professor Ng, Sai Leung is an Associate Professor at the Department of Geography and Resource Management at The Chinese University of Hong Kong and an Affiliated Professor of Huazhong Agricultural University and China University of Geosciences (Wuhan Campus). His research interests include soil erosion and conservation, protected areas management, and geopark and geoconservation. He is a member of the Country and Marine Parks Board of AFCD. He is the Conservation Policy Convenor of Association for Geoconservation, Hong Kong. He was one of the four initiators of the Hong Kong National Geopark project, which later became the Hong Kong UNESCO Global Geopark.
