Biography

Dexter Tse is the editor of the social media page Ancient Hong Kong Stories 香港古事記.  This page offers blog articles focusing on the ancient and pre-colonial history of Hong Kong, including but not limited to military history.  Hong Kong's stories can be told from centuries, if not millennia, before the arrival of the British.  Dedicated to raising public awareness of this period often overshadowed by the developments of the recent two hundred years, this page engaged in a series of work stretching from online courses, and face-to-face sharing to publishing books.

Dexter was also a part-time lecturer teaching Hong Kong history at a local university.  His research interests include the pre-colonial and maritime history of Hong Kong, as well as the studies of the New Territories.
