Biography

See Pok Loa is a D.Phil. student in Sociology at the University of Oxford. His research interests include gender and sexualities, inequality, family, labour markets and economic changes. His D.Phil. project examines the impact of labour flexibilisation on gender norms and family through the experiences of precarious workers in East Asia. His second line of research uses comparative data to explore how class inequalities organise sexuality within the family and in the broader field of sexual community.​
